There has been a… complication… amongst the angels. Azrael, the recorder, has had his halo stolen and then promptly lost by his sister, Adrael.
With the future Angel of Death now fallen, he is as susceptible to chaos as the other two, and he is less than pleased that his sister has stripped his status from him.
Adrael is frantically searching for the lost halo, but with her less-than-altruistic co-worker, Angel also on hunt, she is fighting against steep odds. Azrael, however, isn’t at all detered either, and is determined to get his halo back. By any means necessary.
Adrael is recruiting any and all non-competitors to aid her in the search for the halo; and as an angel of death, this includes the competitors previously assumed dead.
Your task, should you accept it, is to find the halo of Azrael and return it to one of the Angels. In return, you will get the chance at getting your ultimate desire.
Your deadline is identical to the Round 3 Deadline: March 16th.
Will you take on the challenge?
The Halo is yours to find.

Thus begins the Shotgun Round and the Round Three Event.
Anyone who is not currently in the tournament can participate in the shotgun round, even those who have lost in a previous round. Rules and requirements are identical to the audition round.
For those who wish to participate in the Shotgun Round, here is your task:
In your audition, your character(s) must quest and find the Halo of Azrael and return it to any one -but only one- of the three angels.
The winner of the shotgun round will be going on to the semi-finals. However, with this in mind, we are looking for your absolute best work. The standards are high, but we know you can meet them.
For the Round Three Event, Azrael's Fall has impacted the tournament to an unmistakable degree and therefore has been added to the overall plot of the Tournament, and as such should be reflected in your entries.
It doesn’t have to play a big role, but it should be present. This event is going to test your creative adaptability with unforseen circumstances.
We wish you luck.
End of an Era
It has been a little over a year since auditions closed and the Tournament of Rings officially began, and what a year it has been! It's been amazing to see all the competitors and contributors grow, both within the tournament and without, and I'm incredibly blessed to have witnessed the progress everyone has made over this past year. I offer a huge thank you to everyone who put time an effort into making the Tournament of Rings what it is. Thanks to everyone who donated hours of their lives to make this community what it is. Thank you all for making this tournament possible. We couldn't have done it without you!
As we, the judges, have witnes

Both of these entries were downright gorgeous and a pleasure to read. There was definitely a long time where I didn't have any idea who to vote for, but after a lot of thought and re-reading, I feel prepared to cast my vote.

Sesemiroh's entry was extremely well laid out. The paneling was beautiful and well-defined, and she used positive and negative space very well. The designs and effects in this entry were beautiful: I loved the Aztec theme for Quetzal, Angel's wings were shapely and very aesthetically appealing, and the textual effects added a lot of depth to the pages were there wa
